This is one of the natural resources professions important to the social, economic and political development of Oregon, the nation and the world. It is based upon ecological principles and is concerned with the restoration, improvement, conservation and use of rangelands. Concepts of integrated land use are included in the curriculum. The program includes a balance among soil, domestic animal, wildlife, ecology and other biological sciences.
